Set this from the paper itself, not from the text. Grading a General Training paper on the Academic curve over-scores the student by up to a full band.

What it does: Every question is worth the same number of points. Total points (usually 10) are divided evenly across all questions.

Example: A 40-question full mock test with totalPoints=10 → each correct answer = 0.25 pts. If student gets 32 correct → 8.00 / 10.00.

Use when: Standard THPT / Grade 10 entrance practice where every question carries equal weight. This is the default.

Section-weighted
use (X.X pts) declared in each section <h2>

ℹ️ Explain with example

What it does: Each section has its own point budget declared in the <h2> header like (3.5 pts). That budget is divided evenly across the questions inside that section.

Example:

Section I "Pronunciation (3.5 pts)" with 14 questions → each = 0.25 pts
Section II "Signs (0.5 pts)" with 2 questions → each = 0.25 pts
Section VII "Sentence Rewrite (1.0 pt)" with 4 questions → each = 0.25 pts

Use when: Official THPT format where the exam explicitly says "Part I is worth 3.5 points, Part II is 0.5 points" etc. Parser reads those weights from the section headers.

ℹ️ Explain with example

What it does: No points at all. Just counts how many answers were correct and how many wrong, plus a percentage.

Example: Student finishes a 40-question quiz with 32 correct → result shows "32 correct · 8 wrong (80%)". No "X.XX / 10 pts" calculation.

Use when: Quick quizzes, section-only practice (e.g. just 8 Word Form questions), placement tests, or any situation where a formal grade isn't needed — you just want to see how well the student did.
